The Kansas Department of Health and Environment has rescinded a Boil Water Advisory for Belle Plaine water customers. Testing was completed this afternoon and showed no indication of bacterial contaminants. Nearly all residents can consume the water safely. A nitrate warning is still in effect and infants, nursing and pregnant mothers, and those with immune-compromised health issues should continue to get their drinking water from another source.
