The 3rd Annual Holiday Lights Contest, sponsored by MJB Heating & Cooling, was held December 3-24. There were 36 participants.
Winners in each category included the following:
Santa’s Favorite (Best Lights)
1st Place: Wayne Molt, 2206 N. Woodard
2nd Place: Jason & Elizabeth Stanton, 725 N. Bel Arbor
Elves Favorite (Best Decorations)
1st Place: Devin & Bekah Smith, 1306 E. Brendonwood Rd.
2nd Place: Ronda Thomas, 625 N. Marguerite Parkway
People’s Choice:
1st Place: Beau Chrans, 900 N. Baltimore
2nd Place: John Watkins, 1624 E. Blue Spruce Circle(determined by votes on the city’s Facebook page)
"I hope everyone enjoyed taking tours around the city to see all the beautiful light displays during this holiday season,” said Mayor Randy White. “We have many creative residents who spent hours preparing their homes for the contest. We appreciate their time and efforts to make the season a bright and joyous one.”
