Mariah Wheeler, former Derby High School softball player will compete with her collegiate team for the NCAA D2 Softball Championship

Washburn Ichabods Coach Brenda Holaday (2024) | Washburn Ichabods

Former Derby High School player and current Washburn Ichabods outfielder, Mariah Wheeler, will compete in the NCAA D2 Softball Championship Tournament.

They begin the tournament as a number six seed against the third seeded Central Oklahoma Bronchos.

The first game is on Thursday, May 9.
