On Saturday, Feb. 1, former Goddard High School standout Blake Mitchell’s college team lost in an NCAA Division II baseball game

On Saturday, Feb. 1, former Goddard High School standout Blake Mitchell’s current college team, the Newman Jets, lost 12-7 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the New Mexico Highlands Cowboys.

The game took place at Feland Field (Cypert Athletic Complex). This was their first matchup against the Cowboys this season.

The Jets’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 2 at 1 p.m. at Feland Field (Cypert Athletic Complex) against New Mexico Highlands Cowboys.
