On Wednesday, Feb. 26, former Belle Plaine High School standout Derek Hoffman’s college team lost in an NCAA Division II baseball game

On Wednesday, Feb. 26, former Belle Plaine High School standout Derek Hoffman’s current college team, the Bemidji State Beavers, lost 9-5 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Wisconsin–Parkside Rangers.

The game took place at Historic Simmons Field. This was their second matchup against the Rangers this season.

The Beavers’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 28 at 3 p.m. at Talley Stadium against William Jewell Cardinals.
