Saturday, March 22: Belle Plaine High School standout Derek Hoffman’s college team loses to Southwest Minnesota State Mustangs

On Saturday, March 22, former Belle Plaine High School standout Derek Hoffman’s current college team, the Bemidji State Beavers, lost 10-3 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Southwest Minnesota State Mustangs.

The game took place at Legion Field. This was their fourth matchup against the Mustangs this season.

The Beavers’ next game is scheduled for Thursday, March 27 at 1:30 p.m. at BSU Baseball Field against Winona State Warriors.
