Sunday, March 2: Derby High School standout Mariah Wheeler’s college team wins to Minnesota State Mavericks

On Sunday, March 2, former Derby High School standout Mariah Wheeler’s current college team, the Washburn Ichabods, won 2-1 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Minnesota State Mavericks.

The game took place at Mid-America Sports Complex. This was their first matchup against the Mavericks this season.

The Ichabods’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 7 at 1 p.m. at RiverHawks Park against Northeastern State Riverhawks.
