On Sunday, April 13, former Belle Plaine High School standout Derek Hoffman’s college team lost in an NCAA Division II baseball game

On Sunday, April 13, former Belle Plaine High School standout Derek Hoffman’s current college team, the Bemidji State Beavers, lost 10-6 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Minnesota State Mankato Mavericks.

The game took place at Bowyer Field. This was their fourth matchup against the Mavericks this season.

The Beavers’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, April 15 at 1:30 p.m. at BSU Baseball Field against Minnesota Crookston Golden Eagles.
